PairPaper Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated October 5, 2026.
Photo selection and editing
PairPaper lets you select photos to create wallpapers, collages, and before/after comparisons. Photo selection uses Apple’s system photo picker. Editing takes place on your device.
Data collection
The app does not require an account and does not include advertising, analytics, or a server that receives your photos. We do not collect personal information or images through the app.
Local drafts
Your selected photos are held in the app while you edit. If you tap Save creation, the app stores your named editable pairings, including their photos, adjustments, and thumbnails, in local storage. You can save multiple creations, update them, save separate copies, and delete them. A local resume copy lets the last saved or opened creation reopen later. Compare does not save its selected photos across launches.
The saved library and resume copy are excluded from iCloud backup. Delete in Saved creations removes that pairing and its associated resume copy. Start a new creation clears the resume copy while keeping your library. Removing the app removes its local data. Older single drafts remain readable.
Saving and sharing
When you tap Save to Photos, the app asks iOS for permission to add the finished image to your photo library. When you share an image or export a comparison, iOS presents sharing choices. Any destination you choose is governed by that destination’s privacy practices. PairPaper does not send an image anywhere by itself.
If a selected photo is stored in iCloud Photos, Apple may download it through its photo services to fulfill your selection.
Support correspondence
If you email us, we receive your email address and the information you choose to include so we can respond to your request. This is separate from the app’s on-device editing. Please avoid sending sensitive or private photos.
